Self-locking tweezers can be useful for small tasks such as soldering or gluing parts. The idea was to create tweezers that can hold a component while applying only light pressure. This keeps the risk of damaging parts or wires low. The tweezers have a relatively wide initial opening, so for very small items it may be necessary to add spacers.

By changing the infill percentage, you can adjust the clamping force. The higher the infill, the stiffer the tweezers will be. The model includes a small built-in support, so there’s no need to generate additional supports. Due to the size of the model and a few sharp edges, we recommend using a small brim.
